I didn't know how they worked so when I went to get a refill by nitro I was told in a degrading manner, "are you gonna take the top off your cup? cause we don't touch your cups" tweety and Sylvester were brought out and me and 20 month old daughter were pushed back from approaching them. After 10 mins of no one coming I can finally get the cashiers attention to get my slips back. I try to change my daughter in a bathroom and theres an xcell hand dryer almost on top of the changing station!!! I went to the refreshment stand outside Houdini across from cyber café to redeem my refillable cups that I purchased online for a "discounted price" low and behold theyre 5 dollars cheaper if 3 are bought IN park! the cashier tells me "I don't know how to do this so you'll have to wait and I need to take other people. Your bathrooms!!!! never cleaned, smelled of feces and throw up even your coke freestyle booth smelled of throw up. Would you wait in the pouring rain with your child? The amount of money for the god awefull service we received was atrocious. when approached to guest service we were told that we had to stand in the rain for an hour and a half with my 20 month old daughter before they can do anything. At the Wild Safari, the park is launching a new 'Giraffe Encounter' Safari VIP tour, where park patrons will take an off-road trip in military-style, open-air trucks through seven sections. I bought 4 tickets, 3 refillable cups and preferred parking, after an hour or so of rides we were told no rides would be open anymore due to weather. I understand long lines for rides, but if they'd train the food service people to act more like FOOD SERVICE people, rather than park employees, I think the whole experience would improve in a big way. At a Nathan's, I was the only person in line, and after I ordered my two chili-dogs, it took almost 5 minutes for me to get them. The kid who was dipping the ice cream stopped talking to his coworkers, looked up at me with a quizzical look on his face, shrugged, and went back to talking while dipping the ice cream at a snail's pace. The real disappointment was the food - not the quality, but the service. I liked Houdini, but it was too short and needed more time and another gimmic (maybe something more exciting in the lobby). Batman was great, so was Rolling Thunder, and the bumper cars were cool. I went on a cool day, so we didn't do the water rides.
